Apparently, "Power Rangers Samurai" is the new title of season 18. How long did that one take to come up with? They also updated with Power Profiles of each of the Rangers! However, many of the names have been changed to names that, IMO, I just dont care for. They re-used original ranger names already and made them quite a bit boring! However, some of the names suite quite well such as Kevin and Emily!
Reese is now Jayden.
Baron is now Kevin.
Parry is now Mike.
Sadie is now Mia.
Ava is now Emily.
Being that my first name is Jay, i love that Jayden is the new Red Ranger's names, but the other changes are just horrendous. Parry to Mike? Just awful, and didnt we already have a Mike? Yeah, he was the damn Magna Defender....oh lord.
What do you think of the new Character names?
I'm not really concerned about the names. Kevin and Mike are common names used in the English language anyways so it's not that upsetting that they would use them again. What I'm more concerned about is that their character descriptions sound too similar to their Shinkenger counterparts for my taste. I'd like to see some originality.
